Formats for Players Without a Partner
|
We know you never want to leave a player out, so if you've turned on the event's setting for players to register without a partner, here are some ways to offer those players tournament play without a partner.
|
 |
Scramble Format: For a scramble event, players sign up individually. It can be a Men’s, Women’s or Coed event. The system will create a competition where players partner with each of the others in their player group against another team consisting of two different players.
Depending on the number of players signed up, they will play 3, 4, or 6 games. Scores are recorded for the individual players in each game and totaled up at the end to determine the winners. Note: There must be a minimum of 4 players in a scramble event.
Blind Draw Format: For a blind draw event, players sign up individually and the system creates the matchups when the event is verified. You must have an even number of players or one will be left out of the matchups. Events can also be Men's, Women's or Coed events.

How Seeding Works in Multi-Pool Brackets
|
Often times, your tournament may have brackets of different sizes. When this happens you could have pools with different numbers of players in them.
For example, a bracket with 13 players might have pool one with 5 teams, pool two with 4 teams and pool three with 4 teams.
When you have brackets of different sizes, the software has to use the PD% (point differential percentage) to seed them for the playoffs rather than just the PD (point differential), since teams in the larger pool will play more games and probably have more points available.
So, you could expect that the seeding for the playoff round would go in order from the highest to the lowest PD%.
Be sure to double check that you have your pools setup correctly for how many players from each pool you want to move on.
Note: Directors will be asked to verify all seedings and you have the ability to make changes at this time if you wish.

1. Setup Fee: One-time fee charged to the TD and set by PT (typically $25). 2. Registration Fee: Charged to players and set by you, the TD, in the setup section. You keep these fees less any Stripe fees (see image 1). 3. Event Fee: Per event fee charged to players and set by you, the TD, for each event (see image 2). 4. Service Fee: Set by PT and charged directly to players by PT. The fee is $5 for each event with a cap of $10 and shown to the player at checkout.
Note: you can include a certain number of events in your registration fee or charge for every event.
