Changes to DUPR Match Reporting for a Better Process and Experience

Effective immediately, an adjustment has been made to the PickleballTournaments.com software to address the creation of "duplicate" player DUPR accounts. Previously, when a tournament would send results to DUPR but NOT require the players to have a DUPR account linked, a new player account was created in DUPR. That player would then have to go back and claim the newly created DUPR account.
Now, any tournament with any event marked "Count Games Toward DUPR Ratings" will require any registering player to have a DUPR account linked. This will ensure less issues with duplicate accounts being created so the results end up correctly connected to the players existing DUPR account for more accurate ratings.

What if I don't want to be associated with DUPR or require a DUPR account for my players? Navigate to each of your events and turn the toggle off for the "Count Games Toward DUPR Ratings". Step-by-step article ➜

Using State and Lottery Features
|

Did you know. you can choose to enter a different dollar amount if a player is coming from a different state? The same for Lottery Cost if you are planning to charge players a fee to sign up for the lottery. The Use Out of State Cost and Use Lottery Cost offer you the ability to add additional registration fee options to players based on how you have your tournament set up.

How to Find and Communicate to Players with Unlinked DUPR Accounts
|
- Navigate to your tournament
- Click on the tournament menu
- Click on Reports
- Under Attendees Section, click on Players without DUPR to dowload the csv file
To message these players:
- Click on Messages from the tournament menu
- Add a campaign
- Choose the email type as "Players without DUPR"
- Complete the remaining email fields
- Schedule email.
